Ri-Ri's Getting It Right!!!!

Is it just me or does my girl Ri-Ri look fabulous! I swear sometimes I feel like running up behind her, pulling off her clothes and running as fast as I can, in the opposite direction. I swear it's fabulous bitches like her, that make me feel like I need to loose 5pounds, have knee surgery to have longer legs and bleech my skin! Its not fair that all light skin women get more of a push forward than brown women do! But putting colour aside and concentrationg on style, I think she has what it takes to become a great fashion icon, from wide set hips, goth make up to her trade mark jet black hair, with a short back and sides, she's the new 'Quiff Queen'! She's like me, a person that likes to play around with their look and be adventurous, as well as sticking with the current trends but enhancing what you already have! (Come'on and shake what cha' mamma gave yeah!) I couldn't help it, I have no shame!

Carnival The Crep Carnivor!

I'm a trainer lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love trainers and trainers love me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

From trainers to kicks to creps, they all fall in the category of the best foot wear on earth. Well this is just my opinion anyway. I saw so many creps at carnival that were exclusive and fresh and thought the whole day "How on earth are they staying clean?" Carnival is all about the music, the drink and the fashion. So if you're not rocking hot creps at carnival you are a 'NO BODY'! Your dead to me! I do not know where these girls are going totting around in high heels, it's just plane stupid! When the bottles are flying, I know who gonna get hit! LOL

Any who! Creps can be the highlight of your outfit and 10 minutes on the streets of Notting Hill, they can be devoured by the roads! Not a good look at all but these people managed to keep their kicks looking as fresh as possible, which made me feel proud of them! (But don't concentrate on the first yellow Adidas pair, they are mine and I too made at carnival, so mine had no chance!)

I'm not scared of lion's and tiger's and bear's........

But I'm Scared Of the Dentist!

I am terrified of the dentist and I always will be. I can't help it. My whole body just goes so stiff and tense and I hate it! But this visit to the dentist was like no other. I had 'route canal treatment', the pain was horrible and they made me scream! In order for the pain to stop i had to be given not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 anesthetic injections. He injected the last one INSIDE the tooth, in my veins, thats how bad it was. The injections were so strong and lasted for 4 hours, when the nurse lied and said only 2, KMT!

These are just some of the items, i'm hopeing to get for my birthday. I'll be turning 19 and I'm already an adult, but who say adults have to get practial things?! S**T, I want things that are cool and fun. Especially the shoes, they can put a little spring in my step! I'm gonna post these pictures round my house, my gran's house and handouts to my mates! LOL Listen, I ain't got no shame, i'll tell you (even show you) what i want. They ask me what i want every year and I always come prepared! All I can do is keep my fingures crossed! Nike Gladiators

Yes! I know i couldn't believe it either! Nike have created their very own gladiators. Now they do look a little bit like some one just decided to take their scissors to their creps and cut the s**t out of them, but hey, that person is a genius! I love these! They are simple and weird, my favourite mixture for a perfect outfit! If they create a high boot version, then i deffinately will be investing in a pair!

1/2 Price Tuesdays

I have been waiting to see this film ever since I watched the trailer! I set my heart to see it and I'm so glad that I did. For those of you who know me, I'm a lover of the cinema and theatre! I love any form of performance but for me the movies is my ultimate favourite. I love that whole experience being immersed into another world. I enjoy having feelings and emotions bestowed upon me, not with in my control. For me it's like a taste of freedom to be someone else, to feel the unfamiliar. If you know what i mean then, let me get an AMEN!!!!!!!!

Anyway back to what i wanted to say, lol, I saw the movie at 'The Coronet Cinema' in Notting Hill. It was '1/2 price tuesdays' (you know I likes me bargins) lol, so all tickets were only £3.50, but there are only 2 movies to pick from. That's why they think that they're so smart!

Any way, continuing slowly............ I saw the movie and Loved it! Although it felt that more work could have been done to the end but I'm an 'old skool' romantic! I love the way he proposed to her. She woke up to him watching her sleep, with a diamond ring he had put on her finger moments before. It was so sweet and simple. The movie is basically about a man who has a condition which causes him to time travel, a power not with in his own control, like when he disappeared on their wedding night, just as they were jumping on the bed in blissful happyness! But it basically follows all the trials and tribulations that she struggles with, as he can disappear for 10 minutes, maybe 2 weeks and all she does is patiently 'WAIT'! A lot of other stuff happens, but i wont spoil it.

There was only one thing wrong with this movie..................................It's that would he life have ever been the same if he didn't tell her when he was coming back!? She first met him when she was a child and he was in his 30's, but he first met her when she was in adult and both were in their 20's. Meeting her trigged his power to travel back to when she was young as she became a significant figure in his life, as he would often return to the same places, but just different years. But he always told her when he would come back to see her and she waited for him. But at the tender age of 18, she experienced her first kiss with this older man. But from a young age he loved her as he loved her in the further. She knew that some time in the furture that they would be married but did she ever have a chance to find love some where else? How would it feel to have some one love you and have them tell you that you love them too, before you can even experience it for yourself. Is it the magical mixture of time travel and love? Or, is it a form of grooming?! Just look at the contrast of the current movie poster and the original cover of the book!

Meesha's techni-colour dream dress!

This is a very old fat lady dress i bought from trade for £1. I love everthing with colour in it. Its more fun than flinging on a lipsy dress, that gives the illusion that it makes the femal body appear sexy! I have never really been the follow fashion type. I'll wear what ever i think is, nice, colourful, strange, cut up, tight, long, baggy, sparkly (but in moderation) and trust me when i say anything, i mean anything, cos I HAVE NO SHAME!

I recently went out with my girls and i wore it, obviously after a few alterations. Now it's the perfect party dress. x

My First Blog!

Hello people,

This is my first blog. From what i have gathered, that blogging is just an electronic diary. Oh sorry................. forgot to introduce myself. My name is Meesha P Lewis, but my friends call me Meesha/Meesh/Mish/Pesh or babe for those that CAN'T remember. I'm really into fashion, big hair, dance, music and Beyonce (all hale!). I am 18 years old, (soon to be 19), a virgo and a person who does what ever the hell i want, but not with out the approval of my sisters, cos i don't wanna get cussed! I recently just came back from a 6 months working holiday in Egypt.......................................I HATE EGYPTIANS!

Sorry for those who are egyptian, but these people did NOT treat me well at all. They don't even treat their own people well but any who that is another story! I like to make clothes and accesories and normal girly things, but i desire to be a 'GREAT fashion stylist' one day! Although i don't have a style, i just like every thing really! Although i don't like prints that have circles close together (it makes me itch), Don't ask, cos i don't know myself!
