OSMAN YOUSEFZADA

This is the face of a man, who has so much to offer the world of fashion and I got to see him showcase his collection at the V&A presented by 'Fashion in motion'. Osman was born in the UK of Afghan origin. Since he was a child, he had been inspired by his mother, who had her own dress making business based in Birmingham, which later led to him coming to London to study fashion at 'Central Saint Martins'.

In spring 2006, he launched his collection under the Osman label, with a signature look that captured the elements of precise tailoring in collaboration with ethnicity, draped clothing of the ancient and global cultures.

He has created himself a strong following of high clientele and in 2007 Osman was nominated for a design museum 'Designs of the Year award'. He also worked in collaboration with the well know high street retailer 'Mango', which was sold in over 35 countries and now he currently showcasing in London fashion week right up there, where he deserves to be.

I had a great day with Mazminda and Lumz in the V&A. We got really bad seats, even though I booked weeks in advance, but we still had a good view and I managed to take some good photos of the designs. The collection was to die for. For the opening, they had choreographer and dancer Noel Wallace doing a site specific piece which was great, but made him sweat a lot!!!!

This is my favour piece!!! It is sliver fringed crystallize jacket, which shone strongly in the lights. I felt like a moth drawn to the flame! loool.

The shoes were absolutely ridiculous!....... ............but too fabulous to fall over in!!!!!!

As some of you may know, this is my favourite white girl in the world!!!!! This Model, singer and makeup artist just facinates me. She's as pale as porcealin, has teal blue hair and perfect makeup that on a professional could be capable of. I'm flippin jealous! Tattooed to the make, from a 'my little pony' on her leg to the word 'doll' inside her bottom lip. She's fabulous!!!

BALENCIAGA IS BRICKING IT!

Balenciaga meets transformers, a brilliant concept, but doesn't seem like the smartest of shoes to wear on a night out. These colourful congested shoes are an accident waiting to happen. I would happily purchase these bad boys, but they would sit on my shelves and look pretty. (I think kids will mistake these for toys and try take them apart.)
I'm gonna be honest, I have tried to make my own shoes in the past but they have never come out as genius as these. Although I was using an insole, a reel of thread as the heel and ribbon wrapped round my foot, Oh and I was 9 years old. (Thought I would squeeze that little bit in.) DON'T JUDGE ME!

I have neglected my blog for a long time, but it's back up and running now. So here is a quick run down of my life since the last time I was on this thing. Please enjoy............

It all started here, from the 7th October 2009 when I got my job at Uniqlo.

I was employed then promoted to Visual Merchadiser (VM) after 2 months! (Those are my manniquins in the shop window.) Yea Me!!!! :)

This is me and Lumz ready to tear up east london on Halloween.

(That night we ate a strangers chips becasue we were super drunk and super hungry.)

Did a really nice shoot with the fabulous Quincy and Designer Jeffery Micheal.

It was absolutely freezing!!!!!!!!!!

Had a XMAS party with Uniqlo in cafe De Paris. I needed a dress and was super broke,

so I made one.

Got a Job here............

.........and I work with Josh and Haze, the two coolest people in town!!!!!!!!

I was not impressed, but I still had fun.

Ri-Ri's Getting It Right!!!!

Is it just me or does my girl Ri-Ri look fabulous! I swear sometimes I feel like running up behind her, pulling off her clothes and running as fast as I can, in the opposite direction. I swear it's fabulous bitches like her, that make me feel like I need to loose 5pounds, have knee surgery to have longer legs and bleech my skin! Its not fair that all light skin women get more of a push forward than brown women do! But putting colour aside and concentrationg on style, I think she has what it takes to become a great fashion icon, from wide set hips, goth make up to her trade mark jet black hair, with a short back and sides, she's the new 'Quiff Queen'! She's like me, a person that likes to play around with their look and be adventurous, as well as sticking with the current trends but enhancing what you already have! (Come'on and shake what cha' mamma gave yeah!) I couldn't help it, I have no shame!

Carnival The Crep Carnivor!

I'm a trainer lover!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love trainers and trainers love me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

From trainers to kicks to creps, they all fall in the category of the best foot wear on earth. Well this is just my opinion anyway. I saw so many creps at carnival that were exclusive and fresh and thought the whole day "How on earth are they staying clean?" Carnival is all about the music, the drink and the fashion. So if you're not rocking hot creps at carnival you are a 'NO BODY'! Your dead to me! I do not know where these girls are going totting around in high heels, it's just plane stupid! When the bottles are flying, I know who gonna get hit! LOL

Any who! Creps can be the highlight of your outfit and 10 minutes on the streets of Notting Hill, they can be devoured by the roads! Not a good look at all but these people managed to keep their kicks looking as fresh as possible, which made me feel proud of them! (But don't concentrate on the first yellow Adidas pair, they are mine and I too made at carnival, so mine had no chance!)
